Ah, the innocence of seed-buying. You don’t see the twenty feet of vines in the picture, just the cute little melon you’ll totally be able to grow. These are the result of my over-ambition and now I don’t know where to plant them all!
I suppose if I can find a spot to sneak them into the garden, we can build a trellis and try to grow these plants upward to save space. We should definitely have the spare materials around the property to build something that will work.
I sure hope the summer stays hot and sunny enough to actually get some melons this year—summers here can really be hit or miss for growing melons.
