It seems like blue and purple are the colors of spring 2023 in my garden! Our friend, W, who stayed with us a couple of years ago to help out around the property, planted irises everywhere so the purple is rampant.
I’m not sure what the other flowers are, but I sure appreciate the bright pops of color around the property!
Growing flowers has many benefits — aesthetic appeal, mood improvement, pollinator attraction, and even erosion management for the soil. I’m learning to appreciate every one of these as a part of the systems I live in.
