It feels late in the year to be harvesting peas so sweet, but I can’t deny that the warm days have brought out the thickest of pods.
This is definitely one of my crops that I just can’t resist snacking on when I’m checking on the garden, they make the most delicious snack.
As a child, I used to have a pet rat named ‘Sweet Pea,’ but I digress…
I can’t imagine the garden without peas! This will continue to be one of my go-to crops on the farm. I look forward to planting the fall crop in the next week or two.
