Winter’s end is a time for pruning everything back, but it’s also a time for research and discovery. As we trim our trees, bushes, and other plants, we have to carefully look up what trimmings can be fed to the herd.
They are excited for every armful we sling over the fence, usually eating it, sometimes lounging on it like little divas.
The rain may be pouring down at any moment this time of year (though surprisingly the weather app always seems to know a few minutes before it’ll start raining!), but that doesn’t stop us from working hard and learning more about our land. It’s amazing how much there is to be discovered on two acres.
