One of the reasons that I don’t mind overplanting new seedlings is because I know I’ll be able to give some away as gifts.
This time around, I planted way too many basil plants and sunflowers. Both of these plants love the sun and are easy to grow here in the Pacific Northwest, at least during the warm months.
I made sure that I gifted my extras to friends and neighbors who would enjoy growing them as well!
