Midsummer bounty

Behold, the fat, delicious food growing in my garden!

I’m excited to try white watermelon, which I’ve never had before.

Although the slugs have gone at the cabbages this year, they’ve still grown plump and delicious.

And there are eight acorn squash on my single plant, and they’re HUGE!

Finally, the carrot boxes were a great success, creating thick, straight carrots that tunneling creatures had no opportunity to eat.

The cabbage, acorn squash, and carrots all have me dreaming of some delicious homemade soups!
