One of my favorite condiments for everything is green sauce. I’m going to pretend that’s why I planted four tomatillo plants (and not my ignorance that two probably would have provided enough fruits for my needs!).
After a few weeks’ harvest, I husked the tomatillos while sitting on the porch and then turned them into a roasted, pureed green sauce. Christmas presents for the whole family!
We use the homemade green sauce in lots of different dishes, but you really can’t go wrong with topping some fried eggs with this stuff — so delicious!
