Garlic is one of my favorite crops to harvest because it smells so darn good. The sharp tang of spicy garlic flavor mingles with the dark earth as you dig your fingers down by the roots.
I’m impatiently waiting for four weeks for these to cure so I can start using them in dishes.
You can never have too much garlic, in my opinion! There are also so many health benefits to consuming garlic, primarily boosting your immune system.
Adding garlic to the garden, and therefore tons of our meals, was a no-brainer for us. Even if you have limited space and limited sun, garlic is a must-grow crop if you use it in your kitchen.
