Spring promises

This winter was harsh on many of the plants around the farm, especially decorative and fruiting ones. Some didn’t make it, and became part of our spring cleanup. But there was lots of good news to uncover too.

The lavender bushes, currant bush, and the old cherry tree that no longer fruits are all showing signs of new growth, pushing flowers, leaves, and even small branches.

Plants have become such a symbolic aspect of my existence. They’re a reminder that even when things look bleak, there’s always hope for new growth and new life.

Have you started to see growth around you?
